Sometime back I purchased a used 510 receiver with a married card.

Couple days ago I was successful in transferring the private numbers from the 510 flash into 2 different receivers, a 301-013 dual tsop, a 301-013 single tsop. This included SKs. I now have 3 receivers setup for private numbers, all use the same card file, all work 100%.

I did not use GenDT08 or anything else to generate any numbers, I simply transferred the receiver number, boxkeys and Sks from the 510 to the other 2.

A dual tsop -013 is not a SK receiver, but I was able to set it up for them and it works fine.

I tried to use a 301-013 single tsop as a base, did not work in the 510, and I don't know why...

The card was setup by wiping tiers from the bin, and then adding tiers, (a lot of them too) with DT Tierworks. Adding a private blocker, then writing to card.

Yea I don't know the deal with that, but I tried using that GenDT08 when it first came out with no luck.So I redid the TSOP on a 3700 with the #'s from a 510, and cloned the 102 bin on another card, works fine, now I wonder if the only time you would need the GenDT08 proggy is when you have an unmarried card and receiver without the card info.Huh!

if you have a subbed married rom 102 image for any receiver it contains all data necessary for private numbers using those numbers between married rom and receiver. however if it is a SK receiver it will work for those only. it will not work for dt08 receivers without some modification.

Can you make small step by step tutorial to transfer private info from 510 to 301?

Reckon I can, I used winhex, any good hex editor will work tho.

Assuming you have the flash2 from the 510 and the flash from the 301 saved, assuming you have a 301-013 single tsop.

With winhex it's very simple.
Open both files from the receivers in winhex.
In the flash from the 301-013 single, delete lines 003FFF40 through 003FFF90,
then copy and paste those same lines from the 510 into the 301 flash.

That's it...really.

I tried the same thing in reverse, that is going from the 301 to the 510, but all I got was blank video, got previews fine, but all other channels blank. So I missed something there, but I had done the 510 to 301 before so I knew it would work.

I have not tried it yet, but I'll bet I can put SKs in a 301-010 and make it work with a married 510 card bin. Only other non SK receiver I have available is a 3900, so I may try that too. I have not done this yet, but am reasonably sure it will work.

I'm not attempting to HiJack this <T>hread but have a question that sort of pertains to it.

I have three D*sh irds , two of which go back to the N1 days (Mdl. 1000, 3000) and also a 2700 that I purchased off *bay with a SOx card for $37. Now is the ird data what you guys call 'private'?

I was thinking of converting the 2700 to the Bitch, but should I save the TSOP info first, as it may come in handy down the road should I wish to convert back?

Thnx in Advance

The best private info comes from a married card/receiver.
You can ganerate your own, based on numbers from the receiver, but true married card/receiver is the best source.

You can throw the 1000 and the 3000 in the trash so they don't take anymore of your space than they are worth.

Hi guy, i have a question that pertains to going private. I have a 2800 I want to go to original tsop and I want to use my cam info on the public codespace image with blocker and tiers that i've been using, will I be able to change the codespace image in GenDTo8 by just changing cam id, zip, and time zone? Thanks

I have a question regarding a conversion from Dish 6000 to Bev 6000.

Would it be possible to transfer my private info from a 3100 Bev unit to a 6000 converted from Dish to Bev?
