No Clue What Happened!!!

hi
i have a dishnet 2700 working on rom 102 rev 10b and it was working fine until today
and i have a sw-21 (the three satellite one) switch receiveing 110, 119, and 148
and all three sats were working and suddenly i lost the 148 chanels
went to the menu and checked
there was no signal for 148
i did the check switch and now i only see 110 and 119 not receiving 148

any help would be greatly appreciated

Check the LNB and the cable that goes from LNB to switch. I just checked 148 is just fine receiving all the channels from 148.

No such thing as a 3 satellite SW21, the 21 means 2 in 1 out.
So tell us which switch you actually use, A SW21 and a SW21x perhaps, or a SW34??

all it says is sw21-3 sat (sw-21x)
and its been working fine till now
its around 2 months old

If possible try by-passing the SW21-3 switch to see if you get a signal. If you get a signal from all three after bypassing the switch, this would let you know the switch is defective.

Good suggestion, that would narrow it down to the switch or the lnb..........

so you mean try to connect the lnb directly to the receiver?

i have tried two different lnb's and both no luck

i have tried two different lnb's and both no luckYes that is correct try it with just the receiver and the lnb. If no signal verify that your dish did not move over the past few days. If you have trees in the way which may have had no leaves in the past few months and now during the spring and getting close to summer the leaves are growing then this could be an obstruction. If this is not the case try another receiver if you have an additional one. I am assuming this is your only receiver.

A 500 twin and a sw21 or a sw21x will give you a sw21 3-sat. Inputs above sat numbers tell which sw21 or sw21x input the sat is coming in on. Easy to troubleshoot just switch inputs 1 & 2 on sw21x and do a checkswitch! If 148 is still gone then 148 dish is the problem. If 119 & 110 are gone sw21x is problem. If both are gone or both are there then check the wires!
