Wow it has been a while for me. I am currently testing using FTA, but am wondering if atmegas are of any use anymore. I have some free time once again as summer approaches, and am looking for some fun.
I have a handful of atmegas and a 3100 and a 6000 to play with.
P.S. if this is in the wrong forum, please forgive me and direct me to the correct one. Thanks.

where can I find an updated "how to" atmega - last time I used it, we were still on Nagra 1. (approx 2 years ago)

means it's still of use
for now anyway, who knows for how long
wow guess you really have been in an FTA bubble? ;)
short how to: use jtag to modify your tsop(s) to the DN public numbers (IRD# and box keys)
put latest wicked DN pfg (6.2) on atmega (or 6.1 if 6.2 don't work)
for 6000 make sure you have 18.432 xtal
let er roll and watch tv

Is it working on BEV? All I really want right now is HD PPV's - and if my memory is correct, there are not HD PPV on DN 110 or 119.
(I am pointed at BEV 82 & 91, and DN 110 & 119)

its been so long for me with atmega that I am not having much luch with my searches. Everything seems like it is skipping the first 5 or 6 steps for me.
I really need a step by step guide here.
(also I am somewhat lazy, and you seem to reply fairly quickly. lol)

Check in jeepers preferences and make sure that your program is looking for the correct LPT address. Usually default address is 0x378. If that one is selected and you get no responce, systematically try the other two, It's easier then booting to the Bios. If you use a USB printer, then it is possible the Lpt port has been disabled within the Bios. If thats the case just boot to the Bios and turn it on. When you turn it on check which address it is set to and adjust jeepers setting accordingly.

Try removing the jumper altogether when you erase eeprom, not sure this will work on your card but had one here that I had to do this to erase. Not even sure why it worked...lol. I'm a firm believer, It doesn't matter how pretty it is, as long as it works......

This won't tell you how to edit the TSOP though. Do a search. It's all here.
