301.010 no sat signal

My 301.010 has been sitting up for a year or two and now it can't see any sat signal at all. My other ird's work just fine on the same cable with sat 110 and 119. The check switch doesn't do any good either. Is my unit dead?
Any ideas?

This is a standard problem with 010's. Just open it up and remove the top of the silver casing above the Sat input and re-solder the center pin where the copper part of the coax goes in. They heat up and cause it to separate from the connector. That should fix you up.

Sometimes that works, sometimes the conex sat tuner chip fails too.....
