New Atmega freking out

Just got this atmega a week ago, program it all was find, that is until the keys change earlier this week and I had to reprogram it. Now I notice that my 301 10 Receiver is not even acknowledging the Atmega when I put it in. I note that the Lock fuse setting for my other Atmegas that works are FF AF 89 FF, but no matter how much I change it on this one before programming it goes back to FF 8F 89 FF after programing. I don't know if this is the problem but I would appreciate any kind of help. the wicked programs I am using for my other atmegas are working fine.

are you getting the "smart card not inserted correctly", try doing the alternate chip erase a few times, then reprogram it & keep shoving her in there till she catches.

Ok I got it the problem was with the 301 10 that I was using, it seems like the slot is to wide to make contact with the Atmega. Once I put it in the other Receiver it worked.
