522 receiver , dishpro and install question

ok just bought 522 receiver and programmed it now , currently i am running a 501 and 3900 receiver with 2 twin legacy lnbs. will this work for 522? if so the back of this receiver has 2 inputs, sat1,sat2 do I hook up both cables? leave sw21 switches? or switch to dishprotwin or bigheadded one and run two cables? any help would be appreciated?

any of the options you just stated will work. it is a dual tuner therfore it has two inputs.

ok so my last question is do I need to hookup both cables sat 1 and sat two for two room install or can I just remove 501 and install 522 and run rca cables out of secondary output for second room?

you can use one input but both tv's will have to watch same channel. if you want to watch two channels on two tv's you need both inputs hooked up.
