have a? about the 522/625 from the store. it came with a dpplus separator. i have a dptwin lnb and i'm having problems getting this unit to reconize both sets of 110&119 signals. do i have to run two separate cables from the lnb or is there a separator that will work with the dptwin lnb?sorry for the double post

The seperator is for use with a DP+ LNB, if yours is not then you need 2 cables ran from dish, and don't use the seperator. This is true with a legacy or DP lnb.

The separator works only with DPP's(dish pro plus) not just a regular dishpro twin.
If you don't want to buy a DPP then you have to run two cables one to tuner 1 & the other to tuner 2. If you get a DPP then one feed to the separator then 2 short cables to the tuner 1 & 2 of receiver
