programming problems

The last two nights I have come home around 10:30 pm(est) and all channels were blacked out. Tried to program and keep getting "error:timeout while reading from commport" in the status line of romcode. Yesterday morning plugged card in programmer and it programmed fine, all channels were up and running with no problems. This morning still getting same error when tring to program. When channnels go black and receiver tries to reset, the R00 numbers are present on tv screen, but the S00 numbers are all set at zero. Any ideas??

a rom 102 in a 522? that is odd in itself. i think there was a few of them i was told, never seen one though. try pulling card and putting back in. if it is all 0000's then it is not making contact or just caught a glitch, they do that sometimes.

Thanks Crazy1_79, there was a glitch in card. The chip had a short and it needed to have heat gun put on it to re-melt solder. Working fine now!

Appears so, and prolly a rom 103 chip at that.
