removing old balance

Anyone run into problems taking the update?It looks like my reciever has 3 old purchases on it. All I see are the date "11/23 PPV purchase $3.99" it's listed 3 times. Can I edit this out of my tsop?

Which reciever are you trying to take an update for ? The PPV purchases are the
PPV tiers on your card not the tsop.

I'ts an Echo 3700(2800). I was reading thie new firmware updates were installing an unkown password on irds with old balances. Don't know if it's true but I've never come across balace info when editing my 102 .bin. Never really looked for it either. Anyone know anything about this password thing?

i think it stores in teh eeprom and on the card itself. not sure though. heard about the password thing, shouldn't be a issue with a receiver we can jtag. make new eeprom for it if necesarry

The 3 old purchases you are seeing are the 3 PPV tiers on your 102.bn.Crazy_1 is correct the balance purchase is in the eeprom. If you are using one of the hackkids blockers from the apst it would show you a 3.99 purchase form 11/23. It's not an issue and your ird would update just fine. Again it is not in the ird it is on the rom 102 immage with the blocker. Want to verify, clean the image to rev 103 and place cam in ird with ird disconneted from sat feed and check purchase history.

Plug your receiver into a phone line, it will call charlie, he'll remove balances, and bill you for them.......LOL..........

This is from cemu tier setup, Rom102 to 10 eeprom. A Rom 102 card may be different but is the same principle as to how this $3.99 charge appears in the IRD screen that lists charges. You can change the information - On Your Card... However, If You Do, It is at your own risk.

Hey guys,
Sorry 'bout the delay getting back to you.I figured it out on my own a couple days ago.I've got 3 PPV strings on my bin.
0000001-0033333,0033334-0066666 and 0066667-0099999. All show $3.99. Doh!! Or should I say Duh!!
