I get no response from Snags. The Money order was delivered to him 2 days ago and my banner is still not up. If anyone hase a direct line to him please ask him why the banner is still not re-enabled.

I have to agree with you skinerd. I'm not so sure buying a banner ad at rom10x is that good of an idea anyway....unless we're talking about picking up some of the traffic from there when (not if IMO) rom10x does get shut down. I really like rom10x and most of the mods and admin there. I have to agree with fubr too when he says they're being awefully cocky about some key security issues. The admin of rom10x is residing in North America. That means it's only a matter of time before the site gets shut down. Plain and simple. I wish them the best and hope I'm wrong about rom10x being shut down relatively soon.

I noticed a couple of threads at 10X, started by members there who had been members for quite some time, simply inquiring about what was going on over here in this thread - posts that were of the "what's going on?" variety with no flame in either direction. Snags himself deleted them within five minutes. I didn't want to believe it but yep, this is him, and he's as out of control as a rabid pitbull.

Rom10X is a great big site with lots of really fine people, coders, forums, you name it - and with a few exceptions I always considered it to be pretty sedate and mild-mannered. This outrageous behavior caught me completely off guard; it makes the Hillbilly/MCS fracas look like a kindergarten event.

Be careful with the threats, Snags. Bitching is one thing; telling me and others here that you're going to 'rip their fucking heads off and shit down their necks' may not sit too well with some of the more, shall we say, "adventuresome" members here at DSSFTP;)

You wouldn't be the first site owner who went nuts and closed shop, so if that's your goal - keep it up, dude. According to you, your site is in a cash flow spiral anyway..

I hope you're satisfied with what you've done. Your badass demeanor has cost you the respect and admiration of a lot of people, including your own folks. As for people dissing your site, you've allowed DSSFTP-dissing for months, right there in your own AVRX and Enigma threads. Well said Twostep. I don't see this thread being deleted anytime soon. We may even sticky it like he has his post about us being SI reps. This is crazy and pretty hippocritical too. None of us like the bashing of mili and the mods from dssftp that goes on over at rom10x, but as you said, we wouldn't dream of going off like snaggs has. And snaggs went off over a hell of a lot less than the type of slanderous remarks he allows about us on his own site.

Wow. I post a request for communication and placing my banner here cause I get no replies fr my emails and when I log in the next time I see fuck yous flying left and right. I am sure it is not how a responsible site owner should handle a site sponsor's request for getting what he paid for and if I replied to my customers this way my business would e short lived. In any case I am greatly saddened by the outburst Snags has displayed. I never ever posted or said anything bad about him and when his site was in trouble I posted to that effect helping calm nerves down. No good deed however goes unpunished. I will of course not spend another penny to suport a site whose owner is deranged and wish him all the luck in all his ventures. I am not jelous of him or rom10x, after all they took the heat off this site be voluntering to be bull's eye and in a precarious geographical position to boot. It amazes me that a simple request for a paid banner placement (whose payment he solicited) trigered wide spread accusations calling most all my mods assholes and spies. I got a handful of mods here whome I have known for years and whome have no acces to any compromising data simply being volunteer helpers to keep the site clean. On the other hand rom10x has a million mods admins and supermods whose background were not checked by 7 years of rock solid performance and repeated tests of integrity. I fel sorry for Snags that he needs to resort to name callings and accusations when a simle post of yeah I got your money and your baner is up would have suficed. I can only speculate as to the reasons of such outburst concluding that it is either high stress catching up to him or some unfathomable financial gain to be achieved by draging us through the mud. Maybe megalomania and "I do it cause I can"-ism? In any case please suk up all the users in this hobby and bash every other sites there are. I have seen big sites come and go and I am the survivor here not you.

I was just informed that the whole thread where our "Great Leader" accused my mods to be SI spies have misteriously disappeared from "The Site That Never Censors". Please by all means there is no need to be afraid to offend my SI spy moderators, after all that thread was already seen by half the Internet and they deserve to be exposed (I always suspected this Skinerd dude, there is something about an old hippy with hot irons that makes me uneasy). Or is it that the mere existance of that thread shed some uncomfortable light on the temperament and personality of the entire leadership there? If I posted malicious lies and when people with a backbone asked me for proof I said "ah it was just a joke" and when people question my right to make such "jokes" I tell them I was right because I am the "Great Leader" and the boss here, I would be torn to pieces by none other but by my mods and friends here never mind my enemies. As a matter of fact I started the thread after sending 4 emails in 4 consecutive days and gotten no replies. It is a standard procedure that my customers use here, go and read around. If they send me their payment one way or another then get no replies to their emails from me they have the right to come and ask where their moneys' worth is? Not necessarily because they think I am stealing thier money but because they suspect and 99% of the time rightly that their emails or my replies do not reach the addressee. Thanks to the unchecked anti mili atmosphere over there despite that every other "site supporter" is praised left and right I do not have me registered as mili over there and besides Snaggs must get a million PMs a day so posting an innocent question here seemd like the most effective way to get through to him. I regret my mods jumping to the conclusion that Snags may be on the run and shit but by the time I saw those posts things spiraled out of hand and people will tell you I overrode any of my mods exactly 2 times in 8 years. I trust the judgement of my guys (all SI spies right?) and if I got an issue with any rulings I discuss it with them behind the scene and most often than not the ruling stands, I feel no need to flex my ass overriding them. Anyway rant#2 over.
