No switch detected

I have a problem and I can't get it fixed. I had to move my TV and receiver about five feet to finish putting down flooring. I unplugged the TV and IRD and ddid not disconnect any thing else. Iplugged them back in within minutes of the disconnect. Thr IRD came back on and doing its signal thing and it never found a signal. I did a "check switch" and that comes back as unknown switch. I use a 4700 IRD with the DishPro adapter and RomCode. It was working fine until it was un plugged. Can anyone tell me how to detect the switch again. I am using a Dish 500 unit. I know it will work if I can just detect the switch. Any help appreciated.

sounds like when you moved it you mighta pulled out or loosened the sat feed cable??
are you sure it is connected properly at the ird and up at the lnb

The only thing that was unplugged when I moved the IRD that is on top of the TV was the power supply. I only moved it about three feet. None of the other connections were disturbed at all. I have checked everything and it is all as it should be. Any other ideas
