rom102 rev284=rev106? compatibility?

From my limited underdtanding, the rom102rev284 from my 811 is the equivelant of a rom102rev106 card?

Does this mean all the software, hardware, scripts, etc.. that work with the 106 necessarily works with the 284?

Not compatible, somewhat equivilent tho.
The 284 is an Icam, the data begins at A500 where as it begins at A700 for a 106, it can be modified tho. Be sure you get a better understanding before you write anything to it tho, you could lock yourself out permanently.
