I need to jtag my DN 6000.I have a quad mode jtag I used to jtag my 2700.
I'm getting UNKNOWN DEVISE after hitting DETECT. I'm also confused on which of 3 pins at switch#1 to connect together. I tried to cover pins # 1 and 6( as shown on WANNNA_BE'S guide on 6000). It still gives me unknown devise. If you think a buffered jtag is the solution would you please guide me to a how to instruction for jtaging 6000.

Any help , please.
I need to know how to modify my quad mode jtag to use it for 6000 IRD.
did a search and came up with this
c/p
"If you look at your jtag on the pin side, put the row of three pins on the top and the row of seven on the bottom. The first pin on the row of three, or the pin all the way on the left of the row of three, needs to be removed or covered with electrical tape."

Well, i did research, too, and sombody says to remove 2 of 3 pins in the row of 3 and also remove pins 1 and 6 on the other row.
It didn't work eaither.

the above works...............if not you have connection issues. are you plugged into the right side of quad mode jtag, does your quad mode have jumpers and are they in the right position?........dont remove pins 1 and 6 in other row, just left pin in row of three.

go to the advanced search page. at the bottom of it on the left set the option to "from the begining" instead of last 30 days.
There are a few older threads that have your answer.
I never seen a quad jtag, I can only help you with a buffered or a simple one.
sounds like for sure your hooked up wrong.

Tyg,
Could you please have a lok to the pictures and double check if my settings are ok.
looks like your connected right and jumpers are in right position..........is the receiver plugged in and powered off????........what version of j-keys are you using????????...........try sliding j-tag around a little, maybe your just off the pads a bit............check your pogo pins to make sure one isn't sticking up and not connecting.
