New Bell card?

I fired up a couple of Bev 6100's yesterday. To my surprise one of them said please insert smart card. I thought they were cardless. In shipping sometimes the card will slip out a little and give you this message. I didnt think to check the info screen but it was an EX-08 card. Is this the 106?

Some 6100s have the card slot activated by the provider. You mean rom 206, right? If so, probably.

Sorry i meant the 206 - just seemed odd only one of three had a card. It had a different picture than the 102's
