Failed to enter program mode??

I am trying to get a older atmega working.
It is the type with a 10pin programmer.
On the card itself it says, "atmega128" 16AI 0412 rev c

When I try to clean it or do anything all it says is failed to enter program mode? Any ideas what is wrong?

I am using the jeepersdx-ts team2 version of jeepers.
Also when I open the program it says, "error locaing program config files, limited functionality"

also, does anyone know if I get the atmega working will it work with a dish811 ird??

is there a good pfg file in the same directory as your jeepers? that will cause the config warning.have you tried changing the settings for your port? it should work. as for with an 811,I dont know if it would, as I don't have one :(

I would just get a standard version of Jeepers or Jeepers DX which I think you can find in the Public Downloads, i cannot tell you how someone's custom MoD version is going to work, I believe SatJammin has taken to updating Jeepers reliably. Look for the Junior Robo or Atmega Cleaning Files and also try and find Wicked AIO (all-in-one) version D. And install the cleaning file on it, and erae it, then try using the newest atmega loader.

Others have also said to get Wicked Loader 3.6 and install it FIRST, then install the new releases OVER it.. same folder. I have a 10 PIN and had issues forever with it with the Wicked Loader, except now with the newest release not so much. But definetly keep Jeepers around.
