View Full Version : anyone have info on Twinhan VisionPlus 102G Satellite PCI Card?

I was wondering if anyone has this equipment and , how is it? i cant find out if its true HD? or does it work with bev or dn?

after august 15th most of the HD on dish is going mpeg4 so this will not decode those. regardless if it is true hd or not. You will be left with about 10 HD channels on dish. however Bev will still have their HD

but it can decode , will there software allow this or do i need to find patches or other apps to act as a CAM?

i was wondering if it can take just regular idea keys and use that to unlock bev on the 92?

I am not sure about all that JDMAlex DVB cards is one thing i do not test with. find a copany to send me their product free of charge to test out and i will review it and learn a lot in the process! lol

i would too , it would be a great card thow , hd support , can unscramble subcription chan and pvr all for around $100.00 but there is not much out there that backs it up or lets you in on the "other" details..

If you keep looking you will find some good tutorials about setting those cards up, hard to knock them down and usually the software upgrades are faster that those for "pure" FTA...

I used a 102G for months and months.You can get one fopr $75 if you shop.Kind of a steep learning curve but doable within a few days to a week.

the 102g does HD nicely on a HD tv, I run mine to my LCD. It takes a fair bit of processor when using mytheatre, but with the right codec, it plays nicely. It is great to watch sports. Not sure how long it will last with the new rev updates, but so far, so good.

I cant speak for the 102g or other Twin cards, but i do know that it is worth the minimal cost for these cards. (Kworld here, card and support suck but if you get it going it works well. go with the 102g though)

They are quite tricky to get working 100% but once you get them running they are great. Also if emu is working DVB will work, you can also aux card too with the proper mods!
