Help!!!! Please!!!!!

I have 3 questions.

1. I am wanting to use my Rom 102 card, with a different reciever, this reciever has been diddled with before. What do I need to do to use this card with this reciver.

2. My old reciver used to say in the software box P392, now it sas X392. What is the different between the two? When the keys roll and I take my card out the reciever usally checks it self, and when it does it still says P392, but after I change the keys, and I go into the menu screen and select 6, 1, and 3, it checks itself and says X392.

3. In mili's store What are you buying when you select Private Info Keyfile (http://dssftp.com/xcart/product.php?productid=107) for $15.00, What exactly is that?

1. a. You need make you card ready
1. b. You need to make a .bin for your reciever ( matching)

2. you fix that with the new .bin

3. you can use public / privet information, for those who wish to use privets information this is it (if you can't do your own)

File and information to set your Atmega, ROM102 or Enigma with your own private info. THis will help avoid any public numbers that are ECM targets. Instructions and the file will be emailed to you. You make it public and you run the risk of having it become another ECM target possibly resulting in the looping of your ROM102 card

I dont mean to be smart, or any thing, but could you answer all 3 questions like i am a 2 years old. I am new to all of this...

1. You need to either make a valid image for the receiver with gendt08_sk 3.3 (you will need a jtag, and jkeys to do this.) Other option is to clone that receiver to other receiver. what are the model numbers of both receivers? that would help in deciding easiest route.

2. Not a big deal here. pretty must a personal and commerical deal. I have come to the conclusion that depending on the tiers on the card this can happen with your firmware

3. you can use either, if you wish to use public you can merely put the ird and boxkeys into the receiver, once again programs required will be jkeys, and flashedit. Private info is safer cuz not 2 million people are using it. they have targeted public numbers with rom 102 looping in tens of dozen. nothing major but they have done it. Private is gonna be safer but harder to do.

Thank you so much, That was easier to understand, my current in use is a 301-010, I have 3 more recievers on standby 2 of them is a 301-010 and the other is a 2800 I think (old box ) the 2800 and 1 of the 301-010 my 2 cards wont work in the, my current and the other 301-010 i can use any of the 2 cards in either receiver. I do not have a jtag yet nor do i know how to use it even if i had one, I have been trying to read up on it, to learn. I dont even know why you need to jtag.

My only concern right now is trying to figure out why my sat is going in and out of signal. ( makes it hard to watch anything ) It has worked great for the past year until approx 2 weeks ago. It used to say P392, and now it says X392, and i dont know if that the reason or not, but its all i have lol.... So I was going to try another reciever and see if it would work better, but my card wont work. I was under the appression that any fixed card would work with any fixed reciever, I was wrong, I was hoping hat I could program something in the card with my programmer to match the reciever so i could accomplish this, since I dont know anything about a jtag. Once again I am new, and i would greatly apprciate it if someone that know more than I do kinda take me under their wing to help me understand or point me in the right direction and answer a few question along the way...... You all have been really nice, and thank you, I have been reading her for a year trying to learn, that is where i learned to program with one of mili's programmers.. That and the File shop. x392 just means you have commercial sports tier, nothing to worry about
