Dvr 510

I need some help getting started back in the hobby! I had a 2800 rec and a magic card that work for me until they got killed!

I now have a DISHDVR510 with a ROM 102 yellow card that has been in the data stream before.

What do I need to get started again? Or would it be better to use the 2800 rec with the Rom 102 card?

what is the rev of the card? put in receiver, wait for it to start acquring sattelite or tell you it is not authrozied for that recevier. then pull it out and system info screen will pop up, scroll through till you see DNASP rom 102 rev 1?? fill in the question marks. is the 102 married to either of the receivers?

The card is married to the IRD, but I don't have the Sat. Dish hook up yet.

Will I have to Modifi the PVR 510 IRD or should I just use the 2800 IRD?

On the 2800 IRD I have JTAG port that I soldered...I'm pretty sure that the yellow 102 rom card is locked.

Should I just purchase a Enigma card for the 2800 IRD and does this card work like the old Magic Cards?

Well what it is??

If it's a low rev, you are in luck, may open easily and since it's married to the 510, relatively easy to get operational.

Unlocker is needed to open card.

No receiver mods are needed IF you save original card read, it has all the info needed.

yes buy a unlocker from mili. that card is very easy to open even for beginner. do some reading on how to glitch a card before you try. seen a guy loop a 105 in the shoutbox and i about fell over

If card is married to the 510, that's the best bet, receiver will not need modified, IF the card opens.

If it opens should I use a public blocker or use one of Mili's private blockers?

Once I load the blocker should I be able to watch charlie?

This will be my last ? untill my unlocker comes in guys!

Public blockers are not good, looping ECM's have ruined many cards.
ROM 102 REV 103, if it is ex-sub then it's married, can be re-activated, tiers added and open all channels, without any receiver modifications.
