? about step 5a in crazy's sticky

thanks crazy for your rant, and texas for his comulation it sure ended up with one hell of a sticky. you did it in two minetes, i can't even read my tsops in that amount of time. hats off to you both,without texas, this stuff would still be flying over the top of my head. however i imagine that you are thinking miles ahead of the present, so i can se how youneed a 'grounded' guy like texas. anyway to the question; step 5a in the sticky. i am using two old dishes with a switch 21. when i go to step 5a and press the key nothing happens. should i skip 5a or what? also when i write the tsop back to my ird i get x,s and f.s i'm using both a 2800, and a 301.10. both tsops read good checsums in flashedit when i start. when i write the tsop back at the end i have problems. what do you think? i realize you have alot on your plate right now, but wondering if you could help. thanks; Duh1

that picture is wrong
goto the main tsop page and over on right hand side you will see a box, the box will be red with characters in it. a calculate box is next to it. Click that box.

are you using SK or ird receiver duh1. if you ahve SK receiver skip it and go to next step. if you have ird rsa receiver goto tsop tab adn hit calculate button on right hand side of screen where it says checksum. (this box will be in red)
