I want to down grade my firmware from p392 to p343. I have a 301-10 with a jtag setup.
question do i back up my current tsop? single, SINGLE TSOP , what jkeys program version will work?

The first thing I would do is open you p343 in flashedit to make positive that the check sums are correct. Usually if they are not correct it will not let you open it.

Don't worry about making back-up of p392 if the checksums are correct in your p343 because you can always allow reciever to update automatically.

I have two versions of Jkeys and they both work.

P392, is current on a -010 which is a 2 tsop receiver. Reportedly p248 works fine.

where do I get p248 from the file section?

Anyone happen to know if there is a software version for the single chip 301.13 that is old enough to stop 153 nag, but is still fully functional in terms of getting all channels?

I think that you are mixing up your firmware and IRDs. P392 is 301.010 firmware. P343 is 301.013 firmware. It's probably best not to write the wrong firmware to your 301.010 IRD.
