I just downloaded the newest bin from files...
070812_294_api
This bin doesn't seem to be working -
I'm getting "wating for picture" and then
the never ending count begins......
as instructed, I have autoroll turned off
Only KeyCode is "ON"...
The only way to get it to work is by manually
entereing in the Key Codes....
Anyone have any ideas?
I saw someone posted that there is a 295 bin
out there, but i wasn't able to find it..
Am I using the current Bin file?
Thanks everyone..

No, not any new bin, you have to keep uploading manually the keys and pray for a new one!!!

There are files out there now that will convert your 2500 to a 2700 all thru serial cable now and it works great. I have a Pansat 3000 now converted to a 2700 Pansat. Look's like this will be the way to go now. BL is not supporting the 1500, 2300, 2500 any more.

In Regards of the Pansat 2500a Fix
In Regards of the Pansat 2500a Fix
We would like the Pansat 2500A users to be aware support for this unit will be longer to update then anticipated due to the lack of the flash Rom memory . If users do not wish to wait we would suggest to upgrade your units. Note the 2500A will be supported but in time the units (2500A) will phase out be and remembered as the...."Pansat Work Horse" .
2500a Flash Memory 1 MByte 5 years supported
2700a Flash Memory 2 MByte
2800a Flash Memory 2 MByte
3500s Flash Memory 2 MByte
250sm Flash Memory 8 MByte Seven times more the space of the 2500a
5000 Flash Memory 4 MByte
6000hxc Flash Memory 4 MByte
9000 hd Flash Memory 8 Mbyte Seven times more the space of the 2500a

New bin's will show up as jvvh_b75-208_1m and yes for the next a/r hit thats what we will be using. I might allso try the full 2 meg 2700 clone safe bin file on my 3000 as it has 2 meg I will let you know how that goes LOL

Here is a reaply to a member I posted at a other site with my findings. This has to do with the 2 meg receivers and using real Pansat 2700 clone safe files to the unit after converting.
C & P
modx it works on the 2 meg but one problem you need a 2700 remote LOL but it works on the new TIVO208bin for the 2500 clones . Allso I hade to change it back because I was using a friends universal remot but I think I will be going that way very soon. Allso to change it back I had to use the 2700 downloader to load the boot 60 file back to start from srcach.
BUT IT WORKShttp://www.ftatalk.com/images/smilies/yes.gif
Real Pansat owners & some clones DO NOT DO THIS to your unit as its only 1 meg of flash stick with these convertion files like this one. For the 2 meg after converting yes you can use the full 2700 clone safe files but you will need a 2700 remote.

Did you mean jvvh_b75-208_1m is the file to convert 2500 to 2700?.
As for the remote you can pick up on ebay for 10 bucks including shipping..

Yes its here too you need to load the 205 one first it has the B75 boot in it. But this is the safe one for the 1 meg receiver. If you have a 2 meg receiver then you can use 2700A clones safe files after the convertion with these files but you will need a 2700 remot or you can just stay with the 1 meg bin's like these here.

I downloaded these two files and now i get B75 across screen then says (ON)
scaned both sat's fine.
My problem is i can't get the pansat 3500 remote to apply the num. 0
Is not the pansat 3500 the exact same as a pansat 27700 ?
Or maybe my old pansat 3500 remote isn't working on the number 0
my question is there a difference in the 2700 and the 3500 pansat remote's ?

:D Ok i got it now. my mistake
I loaded the jvvh b75-208 1m so i didn't need the 2700 remote.
I used the forteck remote and all is well.
One thing i had to do is after loading files was to go to nagravision 2 and select 01 01 for d*sh ,
now i am wondering if i can do the same for a pansat 2500 using the same files ?
