HD Upgrade Question

I'm thinking about upgrading to a hd receiver and was wondering if i needed any other special equipment..(ie..an lnb or a bin file)? Right now i'm running an SV4000 with dishes pointed at 110,119,and 61.5 and i noticed that during a channel scan it skipped over all the hd feeds.I'm assuming it did that because i don't have an hd unit.

you might as well stick with Sonicview and buy an 8000hd receiver. You will also need an 8psk module and an adapter board to get Dish Network HD channels. Bell HD (on 82)will work without the 2 add-ons. Your current lnbs will work fine for Hd and you will find the majority on 61.5, 110 has a few and 119 none. The Sonicview 8000 works with mpeg 2 and mpeg 4 compression.I believe it is the only currently available receiver proven to work for mpeg 4. The support is very good. I notice there is another file released today to fine tune some small problems in the previous file.
