Guys,

hopefully someone can help me, I'm going bonkers trying to figure this out. I've followed Crazies instructions (for legac receivers) on creating my own private setup, I have a ROM 102, with a 2800 serious receiver. Regardless of what I do, I keep getting the dreaded "020 card not valid with receiver" NAG. Any help or suggestions would be appreceiated.

I've checked my IRD # and box keys these all mach up.

Thank you.

PSG.

Was this card subbed with this reciever in the past ?
If not did you do the dt08 for the card and reciever both ??

Card not valid has only one cause.......receiver numbers don't match.
Any other descrepencies will result in black screen or 005 nags.

Thanks you for the responses, I have already triple and quadruple checked my IRD numbers on both the receiver flash and dump of my CAM. They are bang on identical. I just can't figure out why I keep getting this NAG. As for the generate DT08, following Crazies guide I didn't click on this buttion, as it was not mentioned in the instructions.

Both CAM and IRD were subscribed together until two years ago, at which point I flipped to the subscription through milli/dssftp, after that went down I flipped to a public numbers. I'm now using my original CAM ID, IRD ID and box keys, is there anything else I need ?

At this point, I'm thinking it might be easier to just buy a private file package...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Skinerd is right....again. Either your not putting the Cam id info in the right location, or the tsop and cam IRD# doesn't match. You get your receivers and cards mixed up maybe? Got your patches mixed up or not applied right maybe?

I've tried multiple times, each time starting with the original TSOP and cleaned ROM 102.....plus I've checked the numbers to ensure that they match whats written on my IRD and CAM. Would it just be simplier if I purchase a private numbers file ?

At this point, I think I'm ready to try plan B (bang head on table to signal my frustration :P )

If the numbers match as you say, then they are in the wrong location.....and not seen correctly.

Also, just inserting receiver number, boxkeys and camID will NOT get it working.
If you saved the original card read that is all the info you need, that is all the info that comes in a private keyset sold here.

Skinerd thank you for the info, I pulled up my files into GENdt08 and when I click on calc DT08, I get a message saying my IRD D is invalid.

As for inserting the receiver number, box keys and CAMID are coming from the original image after I unlocked the card.

Since I'm using a 2800 is there some trick that I need to use, do I need to use a SK (if I flip from the RSA option to SK option I don't get the invalid IRD message).

Thanks for all the help.

Either way should work, GenDT08 should generate and place the numbers correctly.

2800 is native DT08, but SKs do work, if correctly applied.

If you saved original card and tsop reads, GenDT08 is not nescessary anyway.

sorry to ask, but how can a SK be correctly applied to the 2800 ?

Depending on what you have, there are 3 ways to get the SKs in, getting them in and getting them working is another story. Some claim a 2800 does not work with SKs , I know it does.
