Here is a screen shot and a picture of the new Atmega 256 USB card with a USB2.0 port and cryptographic hardware accelerator. Additional 1M of memory and minimum 2x (hardware accelerator) the speed of a conventional atmega
128. Same code released by Lexus and any other freeware atmega code
will run on this card, but with the added features. Card-Coders.com has agreed to sponsor this card, provide forum support and release files. Other forum sponsors are welcome. Dealers are expected to start taking orders early next week. Retail prices between $60 - $80 USD.

Parallel Atmega256: 256kb Memory
USB Atmega256: 1 MB memory
Parallel Atmega256: no hardware cryptograpic processor to speed data processing
USB Atmega256: hardware accelerator chip to speed up processing
Parallel Atmega256: no USB interface and the need for a parallel port and a parallel programmer
USB Atmega256: No need for a programmer and only a mini USB cable is required
Parallel Atmega256: $45 with programmer plus you need a parallel cable too
USB Atmega256: Approximately $80
The USB Atmega256 is fully compatible with any Atmega software let it be for the 128 or the 256 cards. I would like to ask mili to get in touch with us if he would like to come onboard offering the cards.
