My buddy has a legacy twin. It does work with Coolsat 5000. It has a built in sw21 to combine 110 and 119 on his dish 500. He wants to add 91 using a DTV dish. Can I run the line from the dish 500 to a disque switch and the other line from the 91 dish to get all TV from 110,119 and 91.
Thanks beast

I believe you will need to use all single lnb's to all 3 sats and a seperate switch for them, the switch in the lnb will conflict with the new switch you are adding for the 91 sat.

I tried to make it work with my setup, but it wouldn't work. I have a legacy twin dish 500. I think the internal switch is conflicting with the disque switch.

I believe you can use 2 sw21 switches. Run a cable to one side with 119 from twin, run a cable from 110 from twin ti other side of first sw21. Take that output int left side of second sw21, and put 3rd bird on right side of that switch. Use sw21lnb1 for settings for 119, and 110. Use sw21lnb2 for third bird. I believe this willl work for you. All lnb must be legacy.
If using diseqc run 1 cable from 119 twin to port 1. 1 cable from second output 110 twin to port 2. 1 cable from 91 to port 3. Use a straight 4 x 1 diseqc.
Both of these should work fine for you.

On a legacy twin it has two outputs. One for receiver #1 and the other for reciever #2. It has a built in switch. Both outputs will have a combined signal of 110 and 119. I can put 2 single lnbs on instead of the twin but I'd like to use the twin if at all possible.
Thanks for all the help!

You are correct, but if you run a single cable from each output of the twin to the 4 x 1 it will split the lnbs at the 4x1 into single feeds ( ie 110, and 119). Use port 1 for 119 dedicated and port 2 for 110 dedicated in your settings menu. Then just add the third bird to port 3.
