DP301.010 ROM 102 rev 103 Newb

Hi all,

I used to test ROM10 before all this Nagra2 stuff a few years back and held onto a couple ROM102 rev103 cards.

I recently started reading up and got caught up with the testing scene but I'm still a little confused as to how I should proceed.

1. I know I need to unlock the ROM 102 and I'm planning on getting a Mikobu Vortex Pro. I'm supposed to flash with Newd13 and Winexplorer. Any other suggestions?
2. I'm planning on using the codespace blocker, seems like it's the current one.

Questions:

1. What do I need to do with the IRD? Some guides say to use predetermined IRD #, Boxkeys, etc. Some blockers say "no-rsa", DT08. I'm really confused with the IRD stuff. From what I've read, there's public fixes which I can use as long as I change the IRD number and Boxkeys but I'm not even sure which guide I should follow. Then there's a GenDT08 program. I'd like to do whatever's safer, even if it's more complicated and requires more work.

2. On the ROM10, I used to create tiers using a software...clean codespace, patch with tiers, patch with blocker, write to card. It seems like with the ROM 102 this is still the procedure?
