scanning bev

I have a viewsat extreme receiver, I have hooked up a satellite to Bev 91.I get good signal strength but when i do a channel scan no channels show up. And the other weird thing is I am getting signal strength on other dishes also, such as dish 1,2,3, and 4 Does anyone know what the problem could be.
