So after playing around with MyTheatre and losing sound that would not comeback on, I decided to try different DVB programs.
On an old computer I had installed ProgDVB that worked 2 years ago. I installed the latest Version of it and it wouldn't work. So I gave up on it.
I tried tried RitzDVB with 2 different cracks and couldn't get that to work.
I finally tried DVB Dream. Success! I'm running a P4, 3 GHz, 1Gig RAM and a Kworld DVB-s 100 PCI DVB card. I selected BDA (general) card within the program and it seems to run just fine. I have a DP500 dish picking up 110 & 119 and a Dave 18 incher picking up BEV 91. They're all tied into a DP34 switch with 110 (port1), 119 (port2) & 91(port3). After I do a scan (I updated the ini files with the latest transponder info from joshyfun-I hope I don't get in trouble with mili) I have to reboot my computer becuase there's no video and sound is 'choppy'. Works just fine after rebooting.
I'm running Emunation 2.0.06 plugins.
So far so good. I'll keep reporting back anything interesting or unusal that I encounter. Thus far, I reccomend the program.
