I'm using legacy lnbfs with DishPro receivers. Works fine but I can't tell you about ftas.

I order Di** HD package which goes to four room using DP 34 switch, I hooked my viewsat and can't get anything. Previosly I had legacy switch with switch 21 but I moved into new house so di** install this new di** and now I'm screwed. I don't even see option to pick D*34 switch on View*** installation menu. Can anyone know what option should I pick.

I think Dp34 uses diseqc protocol. Try diseqc settings.

Assume you have loaded the latest bin for you receiver
Look at the dp34 input....
example...say if 119 in on input 1, 110 on input 2 and 129 on input 3 of the dp34....You need to look at the dp34 to find out what lnb are on what inputs of the dp-34
In the viewsat menu......you would go to Menu/Installation/Antenna setup.
Find Echostar 7 119w
Lnb power on
lnb type OCS-DP
Lnb Frez 11250
22khz off
tp freq 12224
Search all
Diseqc 1.0 port 1
Motor off
Legacy sw none
Find Echostar 8,10 110.0w
lnb power on
lnb type ocs-dp
lnb freq 11250
tp freq 12224
search all
Diseqc 1.0 Port 2
Motor off
Legach sw none
Click Menu and save
Now select the 119 and click F1 to scan channels....save and go to 110 click F1 and scan channels save and exit menu
The viewast will not pick up HD channels on dish so no need to enter 129 for HD on fta.
If you already have loaded the latest bin, and already did a scan, you can skip that part, you may need to wait a few minutes for the keys to roll.....

Well you can un-connect one and see if you lose channels on 119 or 110.....

You said you had a DN package, look at one DN receiver and see how the lnb's are connected....menu 6,1,1 check switch....
Make sure you have the latest bin for fta receiver, and give it time to roll keys.
