First off, this is not about a hack for the cards. As far as I know, there is none. This is about utilizing a loophole in the dtv account system to setup bogus accounts which you can activate your cards on. Then you can turn on as many channels you would like and order PPV and other events without getting charged. I've been able to get it to work in 9 month periods without having to recreate a new account or get a new receiver/card.

Right now, It has been a little over 9 months and still going strong.

Another thing is that when you setup an account like this, you can get new recievers for your home (standard, DVR, HD, whatever you want) without paying a penny. It just looks like you are a real customer.

I will not post the details on here because you can't tell who might read it (esp. Dave) but I am more than willing to share what I know with anyone via email or PM. Email is removed

This makes no sense and smells like a trap or scam. I removed the email address and closed this thread.

Look at this bullshit and beware:

Hey! Sorry I couldn't really get detailed in the post but I wanted to be safe.
Anyways, after the cards went down, I got in touch with a good friend of mine who is also a supervisor at DTV and he said that he could help me keep things "rolling" by setting up DTV accounts for my customers instead of me losing everyone. Anyways, he has been setting fake accounts up for me for quite awhile now. Once your account is setup (you can have it setup as anything - even have the account owner as Elvis or something crazy - as well as fake addresses and numbers), you tell your customers that you need their RID and card number and you can either have him activate them or you can just call in to DTV just like a regular customer and get them turned on. The programming will stay running at least 9 months without any bills, etc. You can order new recievers, cards, remotes, whatever you need (good to resell). However, there has been times that every 3 months the programming will go out but usually he will catch it before it goes out so you will have uninterrupted service.
