Hi, I'm Very New At This Stuff And Have A Few Small Questions That You Guys Might Be Able To Answer In Like Seconds.
I Am Planning To Get CoolSat 6000 Premium. Now The Question Is.
I Also Got A Very Old Sat Kit From Like 5 - 10 Years Ago To Recieve Chinese TV From The States (I Live In Ont). This Dish Is HUGE (2 - 3 Time Normal BEV/Star/DISH Ones).
What Do I Require Now?
Do I Need Those Card Thingy Or What?
Do I Just Need To Input The Codes Onto FTA Reciever?
Where Do I Point Sat Dish? Most Of The Ones On My Street Point To SW Dirc.
Do I Need To Manually Change Code When It Don't Work? Is There Software That Change Automatically?
Only One Reciever Can Get One Network Or Package At Once Right?
If I Need Mutiple Network I'll Need To Change Or Get Another Reciever And Or Dish Right?
Last But Not Least... Do Those Clone One Work??? Because I Might Have One :SS (On Route Shipping)

Stanley you need to start with the search feature.
Not giving you a hard time it's just you don't know enough
yet to ask the right questions or even understand the
answers.
[I Also Got A Very Old Sat Kit From Like 5 - 10 Years Ago To Recieve Chinese TV From The States (I Live In Ont). This Dish Is HUGE (2 - 3 Time Normal BEV/Star/DISH Ones).]
Not enough info. What kind of LNB. How many LNB's 1 or more. If less then
two and it has a standard LNB (not FSS) it will work for one sat. Which is
fine for just B3V but not good enough for Di$h.
[Do I Need Those Card Thingy Or What?]
If you mean rom 102 cam then no.
[Do I Just Need To Input The Codes Onto FTA Reciever?]
Need to program the receiver with the latest bin file using the current
loader for your make and model of receiver. You also need a null modem
cable if the receiver did not come with one.
[Where Do I Point Sat Dish? Most Of The Ones On My Street Point To SW Dirc.]
Depends on location and what providers you are wanting to receive. Jumping
the gun a bit here. You got to work out your dish setup first based on which
providers you want to receive. Then you can worry about how to align the
dish (s) and hook them all up.
[Do I Need To Manually Change Code When It Don't Work? Is There Software That Change Automatically?]
Yes to first one. No to second one. I'm talking bin files only. If your talking keys
that is going to take a more detailed explaination that you can search for.
[Only One Reciever Can Get One Network Or Package At Once Right?]
No. One receiver can receive all providers at once one channel at a time.
Assuming you have dishes pointing at all the sats for said providers.
I know pansat does that. Not sure about coolsat.
[If I Need Mutiple Network I'll Need To Change Or Get Another Reciever And Or Dish Right?]
Dish or dishes yes. Reciever no. If coolsat will work on multiple providers.
[Last But Not Least... Do Those Clone One Work??? Because I Might Have One :SS (On Route Shipping)]
Yes as long as you don't load up a clone killer bin. Do a search on coolsat. I'm
more familular with pansat. I would also search on jtagging FTA receivers
specfically coolsat 6000 just in case you do load a clone killer bin. You want to know if it can be saved using a jtag.
