Can someone tell me if a direct tv lnb will work on dish or bev receiver.

Their lnb's are the same as legacy dn lnb's.

just to add to skinerds correct reply....I have used one in the past with absolutly no problems :)

I have bev set up with an old dtv dish/lnb on a 301-010/3100.

DN and DTV use different encryption methons, but the sat signal is essentially the same. I don't believe you can use DP lnbs for DTV tho.
Their receivers don't support DP, in my belief.

There are some exceptions too. Like the "sat c" lnb used in some older "para todos" dtv setups.

Try it First and if it doesn't work then ask for Help. Really think this guy likes to see his Question Posted and get Answers......and knew the answer.

I'm really am in a bad mood, but crap like this should be Erased, total waste of bandwidth and am I'm not helping things by replying. ;-)

Perhaps, I was too tough on this person.........but the Regulars Thought that and kept away from their keyboards.

I don't 'BASH' Newbies.......although slipped up on the previous reply and no personal stuff intended.
