I read the NFL thread that started this argument and I'd say both of you were a bit heated and a bit out of line, but nothing all that bad. Sdeens has been around a long time and while opinionated isn't the asshole you claim him to be, and neither are you.

Take a cold shower and edit your post before somebody who does have some stroke pours a 55 gallon barrel of asswhip on ya'll's head. You'll be glad you did. ;)

Good decision dickched. If you have a post where anyone has attacked you personally, then you can and should bring it to the attention of one of the moderators. That is the right thing to do. The folks here are good about warning people first, but you never know and I didn't want to see you get banned just because you lost your temper a bit.

We do have some fairly heated arguments on this site from time to time. Peeps tell each other they are stupid and such, and that gets by as long as it does not get too heated. Even the boss man has been known to sling some pretty thick mud from time to time. You did have it escalated to a much higher level with your words though. I'm glad you edited it.

Back when I had a whip to crack, I would have handled this problem myself but now advice is all you'll get - and it is this:

If Sdeens posted as you posted, I'd tell him the same thing. Knock it off. So far I haven't seen such a post. I'll play moderator so you don't get fussed by a real one - forum spats are inevitable and in some cases actually help clear the air. I didn't see anything in the NFL thread that would justify a warning or a ban. Most such arguments work themselves out and indeed, towards the end of that thread that's just what was happening. Sdeens was fussing with Dr. Sagan a bit and I can assure you Sagan can take care of himself.;)

Dickched, you can't tell people to fuck themselves and get away with it, at least not around here. If you're that aggravated at Sdeens, work it out in a PM. Don't threaten the guy, either - PM or not, that's not part of the plan here at DSSFTP. And if personal attacks on you are seen, said attacker will be dealt with in exactly the same manner. No favorites are played, bro.
