I j-tagged a brand new never subbed 301-010, Rom2 Rev5 with no problem until I tried to open in FlashEdit 2.9. I get a message that says " I am going to do you a favor and not open this file because checksums are not right". If the checksums are not right, how do I make them right if that is possible. Any help appreciated
click advanced, click fix checksum,
if it is two flashes open the other one instead of the one your trying now.
It may be swapped around till you open it

I wouldn't panic about that particular error msg. The 301.010 I am using right now gives me that msg when I open the tsop in FlashEdit, but it works perfectly. Then again, that may be because I converted it to SK.
It will open the tsop if you click on 'Advanced'

Manny, I tried Advanced, it won't open there either. I put the flash in Save Memory, is there a read function in Jkeys like Wall

Hmmm, that's weird, it should open in Advanced mode. Are you sure you got them in the right order? Click the drop-down arrow to select the model and select 301.010. Then open the tsop, and look in the window title; if it says U22, you must pick flash 1, and for U23, select Flash 2. If it still doesn't open, then something is wrong, either you have a bad flash, or your version of FlashEdit is corrupt. If you can open other tsops ok with your FlashEdit, then it's the flash. Just jtag it again.
