I'm not sure if what I want is possible, but if it is someone here will know how to do it.

I currently have a 9200 setup on my TV downstairs. The composites go to the TV and the second output runs through the wall to my TV upstairs. We mainly use this feature to watch shows we have taped before bed.

We also have another satellite upstairs that has the composites going into the TV upstairs, and the second output does nothing.

If I want to watch something from the upstairs PVR downstairs, I have to unhook the 2nd output from the downstairs TV sat, plug it into the TV then do the opposite upstairs. Is there some kind of splitter/combiner/switch I can put on each end to avoid rehooking when I want to watch the other sat on the TV I'm at. (Unfortunately I don't have 2 separate wires running through the wall)

Thanks,

Set one receiver TV2 to one channel and the TV2 of the other to a different channel and put them together with a normal splitter, run them over same wire..

If I do that would the splitter that is sending out not be facing the wrong way. Going from the side that has 2 (normally outputs) to the side with 1 to run back through the house to the other room?

Cheapest would be two A+B switches on both ends. You would still have to
push a button on both ends though.

Another expensive 160.00+ US is a Wireless A/V Sender. This does have
the advantage of a I/R extender built in. That means I/R remote controls
will operate the remote equipment in another room.

Another option would be a Channel Plus system. It works by converting the several units to
multiple channels. Then you can send several signals over on wire on seperate channels.

eg sat1 channel 4 sat2 channel 6 vcr1 channel 11 ect.

Will work.......TV2 out can be set to UHF, and sent over internal house cable TV wiring, then pulled by TV tuner.

A splitter can also be used as a combiner.
