Was trying different combo's to see what will work after 10/8/07's key
change. Lastly was tring to update firmware but IRD keep on looping from
acquiring sat and searching for info till it finally cancelled the update.
Tried to flash ird until finally green light went out and neither is wall
or Jkeys able to flash receiver, Tried resurrecting IRD with WALL
(Writing Flash 2/u33 at 1FC00000 and 1FE00000 at Flash 1/u22) and box
keys stay at FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF. Tried writing flash 2 first on JKEYS
and after about 45 minutes box keys still didn't come up neither did green light
then Flash 1 gives an error message when trying to write that through Jkeys.
Also getting message about enable to program EEPROM from both
Jkeys and Wall.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Jkeys will write it, may take a while but it always has for me, and I have brought many of these back.
Some done intentionally just to duplicate someones else's problem. Yes, it may take quite a while to write flash2 , but it will write.
Be sure the flash you are writing is a good one.

Yep I tried numerous flash what confuses me is that from what I have read
Flash1 = U22/IC22 = 1FE00000
Flash2 = U23/IC23 = 1FC00000
Which is also indicated on JKEYS
But directions on WALL say;
U22 = 1FC00000
U23 = 1FE00000

Jkeys does write flash 2 at 1FC00000 after 45 minutes but box info
and build cfg, as well as other info is still incorrect, and an attempt
to write flash 1 at 1FE00000 only gives error messages.

Flash 2 is a 2 meg file, a real flash 1 is only 1.93 meg.

Some programs save them both as 2 meg files, by zero filling flash 1 to make it also 2 meg.

That is one way to tell them apart, and yes, wall has them reversed.

do not get confused by the default flash that the program first wants to handle.

easiest way to remember is this.

like counting, they are in order:

one, two

or 22, 23

thats it, there in order like that.

Here's a pretty detailed way to fix the 301.010.
