i have 2 dishes with dual lnb on each dish. one pointing to 110, and the other to 61.5. they are connected to a disecq switch which then connects to an FTA(viewsat). viewsat is configued and the receiver sees both dishes fine and everything works great.
i got another receiver which is not an FTA but a DISH 2800. i ran a cable from the open coax outlet on the 110 dual lnb and plugged it directly to the dish receiver. now whenever i plug in the dish receiver, the 61.5 sat stops working on the fta while the 110 still works on the fta and the 110 still working on the dish receiver.
so how come when i plug in the dish receiver, i lose 61.5 on the fta? it shows absolutely no signal for the 61.5 on the fta but 110 is then working on the fta and dish receiver???.
