6000 HD question

Purchased a 6000 HD receiver with both its 8PSK and 8VSB modules included. Do I use these modules for B*V? If not, and I leave the modules in the unit, will it hurt anything hooking up the sat connnection through the 8PSK?

Bev won`t work using the 8PSK. I always remove it, but you may be able to lift the tab that is blocking the other satellite in and hook to it, thus bypassing the 8PSK. Really though, no reason to keep it in the receiver so just pull it out. The 8VSB is for the OTA HD if you are in a location that can receive HD locals OTA.
