510 updated to P401 [Archive]

Last night, a P400 PVR510 updated to P401. I do not see any difference. Being the adventurous soul I am, I went ahead and let it.

Working ok so far with a private blocker on a REV10C codespace.

P401 works fine with Enigma 6.6 too, locals remapped and all movie, ppv, & porn wide open.

I still wonder why p369 is not updating? I don't remember them doing this partial update thing before.

If you have any version prior to p369, then you will get the update.

My understanding is DN is having some trouble with the NBR that is supposed to be coming on P400. The are now listing another update at P446.

First, what is NBR?
2nd, is P446 in the stream already?

i had dvr 501 still at p360 up tell 2 days ago finally let an update through, went right to p401, friend of mine has 501 and a 510 at 369 wont update.

Thanks Ohms. Just been kinda quiet for awhile. By NBR, I mean name based recording. It`s been promised for a long time and finally getting here. I`ve got a couple of 510`s running, but I`m still at P369 on both so I have not seen it. I just heard some legits were having trouble with timers not firing and even losing some previously recorded events so they are trying to get things corrected. As for P446, not sure if it is in the stream or not. It is another limited update and I just saw it on the DN tech site. It is dated Oct 25, so should be in stream unless they pulled it.

Edit: Just checked the tech site again and while it still states 446 for the 501/508/510 is being spooled, I think it may be a mistake. There is already a 446 spooling for the 622 so I think they may have their DVR`s mixed up.

Well my P400 now turned 401 is great. Have been using the NBR and really love it. Finally, this feature alone is the reason I canceled my dish sub and went to DTV. I'm on the verge of going back to dish though if this continues to test out well. I might give an IP service a try first though, just to see what it's like.
