I have a 6000 that will not stop blinking. The green light would blink 13 times and then stop for about 2 second. Then it repeats. I tried to reflash my tsop but it didn't work. (hiting Dishnetwork birds 119, 110, 129)
I removed the HD upgrade kit (8psk??) and I would get SD pic but if the HD kit is installed, then I would get the same problem. I left it over night to see if it's updating the tsop but it still didn't work.
Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Sounds like a corrupt TSOP for sure and may not stream update. Really need to JTAG if you can and write the TSOPs again using a good set. Doesn`t matter if it is up to date firmware, just need a good write and it should then stream update.

I reflashed a virgin Eeprom and flash 1 and 2. Still no luck.
Any other suggestions?

Try two different flashes with the same build configuration. Maybe it's your flashes that are corrupted.

I reflashed it with new flashes 1, 2 and Virgin Eeprom. Still no luck. Still green light flashing 13 times.

Is my 6000 IRD fried? Or, can I covert it from Dish to Bell?

Well, I don`t know if it is fried or not. It still sounds like a bad TSOP. It might be a good idea to convert to bev. Get some bev flashes with same build and reflash with them. I would open those flashes in flashedit first and make sure they will open in 'beginner" mode so you know the flashes are good. Then after you write them, read in Jkeys and see that you in fact have written the new flashes with the BEV numbers. If you get that far, of course, you need to pull the 8PSK module for BEV.

I left it connected over night and now I can't jtag it anymore.
NO blinking green either. Looks like it's dead.

Well hold on a second, didn't beavis state that the IRD was fine without the 8PSK in it. Then there is nothing wrong woth the TSOPs its a bad PSK board. But now that you've killed it good I'm not sure what to tell you. Take the board out, flashe a virgin eeprom then flash 1 and 2 and see what happens.
