2700 reciever

I have a 2700 reciever i have been using for bell and now it is stuck on aquiring sat signal . I have reflashed with norsa mod but now the light comes on after 1 minute but if i go into menu it will blink and go out then i have to wait another minute and the green light comes on. if i go int system info it shows all the correct info but then just cuts out again . it also sits on waiting to aquire signal then the screen will go black and the green light goes out any ideas would be appreciated thanks

I had the same thing happen to me about four years ago, blew the tuner module........somehow I shorted it out by plugging the LNB connector in whilst it was powered on. If you pop the cover, it's that sealed can...open it and surface mount ics with house #'s. :-(

Hopefully , you're not there......perhaps it's the plastic or just Jtag it and try again.

You may want to check your signal strength screen. If no signal on any transponders, the unit will not update. No signal, no download. If no signal, reflash if same, you probably have a shot tuner chip. Not worth fixin that. Fleabay got receivers cheap.
