help with 301

I just picked up a 301-010 reciever it has been modified but it wont work with a 256 atmega after i program it with pheonix lastes file it say card not autorized for this reciever so i am figuring the fellow before used private numbers. I have been reading but cant find a good guide to re do this reciever with a norsa file could someone help thanks

First, are you sure he used private numbers on the ird and is not something weird going on with the card?

you will find some old stickies that describe how to convert to NoRSA
Those are from the Satvia atmega days, but the basic procedure is the same.

Basically, you want to save your tsop(s) with jkeys
Then use flash edit to edit your tsops by changing the box key #s and IRD# to the public (norsa) numbers. Save a virgin eeprom while you are there too.
Then use jkeys to erase your old tsop(s) and write the new ones along with the eeprom.

Or you could find ready made no rsa tsops for your build and use those.

That's the basic idea but there is a bit more too it than that so read up and good luck.
