I programmed my Atmega128 with Phoenix for the first time the other day & could not remember what values to put in for the PPV so I left it blank. Worked fine except no PPV. Then I started dropping chanels. This morning I looked up the PPV
values (10000 & 99999) and used jeepers to erase three times then programmed with Phoenix.
Now it will sit for extended period of time downloading guide. If I interupt it all channels are good but "no info" in the guide.
I have cycled power to the IRD repeatedly to no avail.
Any ideas?

I switched from Satjammin 7.8 to Phoenix 1.1.6. Due to the PPV dropping. I still have the other channels just no PPV or 300's. My guide took a while to download, but it finally did after about 3-4 minutes. There's a new 106 key out, and I'm not sure how to input it in phoenix, but I'm sure a fix will be out soon.

My trouble occured befor the key change. I left it downloading fo over an hour.
When I came back the downloading guide message was gone & CNN was playing on the TV. I changed chanels by pressing the up & down buttons. No proglem.
Pressed the guide button & got "no info" on all chanels & download started again.
I pulled the atmega & reprogrammed with fewer tiers and the guide problem went away but then I have very few chanels to watch....
I'll put the new file on today & see what happens.

Use Phoenix 1.1.8, it gets PPV and movies.

Ran 1.1.8 and I am getting everything EXCEPT no PPV past chanel 509....
Very strange....
Perhaps I am using the wrong values for ppv in Phoenix?
