Reciever mods??

I would like to purchase a 256 atmega, what mods have to be done to the b** 2700 I have...in the old days u needed boxkeys and ird keys...is it still the same principle.

You don't have to mod your receiver at all. You do have to know the IRD info though, so you will have to jtag it if you haven't already saved a copy of that tsop image.
