I love my VS 7000 but sometimes the HDD doesn't collect the data. If I set a program to auto-record at night, I see the program on the reservation list in the AM but it shows zero time and zero mb. If I time shift, that works fine as does replay of recorded programing. I reloaded the bin and it hasn't happened since but it got me thinking. Could the hdd be getting hot? I read somewhere that this might be an issue with these machines and that somebody did a retrofit with a little muffin fan. Thoughts?
