why not much info on the 522/625 dvr?

i followed the only scipt i could find 522 card slot activation.

everything went smooth.card popped good solid bin.

my receiver keeps rebooting. internal com error.

unless the info is no good. screen counts 12345 guide bam reboot

if i use any other rev higher then 382 i cant even get a sat signal screen. just black no boot up nothing.

please somebody who has worked on one.tell me your exsperiance.

when i get home, i'll message a guy who does them quite often and see if he knows why it's giving you that error.

i double checked my connection.looks as if i crossed 1 wire u31 pin 11 to pin 6.i did pin 10. oops. so if anybody has same prob.ird seems to work fine but keeps rebooting double check. i must have looked at it a dozen times.untill i recounted the pins.i was counting 8 on each side when in fact there only 7.

They are finicky..I had a slight problem getting my internal max/mel to work..had a hair from one strand shorting two pins at card slot..once I found it..been running st19xl for a year now..ROM103..BGA card..They are finicky on locals..my locals will come and go below 100//damndest thing I have ever seen..I can be watching a local and it goes away and tells me I do not have authorization..look at the guide..and they are gone..in a couple oif hours..they will be back on the guide..so I just watch them in the 8000s where they are steady..other than that, the 522 has been a very solid pvr..:cool::cool:

that was my next question.all channels work good ecept my locals.every time i click my loc channel it say i have to do a check switch.ok do then asks again. dont know wtf

I have a 522 running ST19XL - all channels including locals just fine.
had some trouble with the re-set but now ok fine............

My 522 works great with locals, no problem. It can be done.
