Hi all,
Is it possible to get locals with a rca 420 5th generation?
If so, can someone point me in the right direction?
Thx

Thx pioca.
Will i catch the same channels as the 900's?
With a 5th gen you can only get one set of locals ...
Write the city that is closest to you ...

and you can't get the 900 channels. you will get the lower channels. just click on channel 1 and then click the up button on your remote. that should take you to your first local channel that you receive. But you will have to down load a locals hex and install it first. you should be able to click on the red down loads page under 4x4's post and search and find the get locals hex. remember what 4x4 said.. only select one local from the get locals hex . if you pick all locals it will not work on that receiver. or you can subscribe to mili's 3m that comes with the locals hexes. and remember once you install the local hex it sometimes don't work as soon as its installed. sometimes you might have to wait 1 hour to 1 day for it to start working.
