Hi there I have a question in regards to atmega 256. how do I use this. Do i have to buy some kind of reciver for this to work with. where will i put this card. i am so confused with this. can some one please tell me what things i need to make it work. for example i need a some kind of reciver. what kind give me some names. and then after that i take the card attach the usb with computer flash the new bin and put that card into that reciver. is that how it works. how will i configure the reciver, by just putting the card. man my head is going crazy... just give me the whole detail of what i need to make it work with names please..... :confused:. i wana buy the whole setup......

what you need is the USB Atmega 3.01 loader software.
Run the install drivers.
then connect the USBATMEGA256 card to your pc with a mini to regular USB cable.
Then follow the instructions in the software


Click detect the ATMEGA card, then click Erase Atmega card, then select your reciever model from the list
click on write eprom bin select a copy of your ROM 102 or rom 103 card image which was working 3 months ago. let is load.
Then click Write AVR256

then put the card in the smart card slot of your receiver and watch tv.
(takes some time for the keys to roll and image to show up)

Don't forget that you must modify the IRD's number and boxkeys to the public numbers as well. Out of the box the usb Atmega software uses public numbers. Need to read up on jtagging if you've never done this. An old 4900 is a good receiver to srart with. Can get em' cheap on eBay.

Well Dish and BEV both are engaging in a fresh attack hoping to put an end to all emulators once again. I am once again told that this one is a bad one, worse than the last timer ECM. Will take a few days for emu fixes to emerge. Please don't expect 5 minutes downtime. All BEV channels and Dish PPR, Movies and Porn are blacked out once again.
