Looks like the change that was fixed with 2.6.06 is back again. We'll just have to wait for the author to release a fix and then keep playing TAG back and forth (my guess anyway)

I have never tried st19 with an aux. Been runnin cemu & st19 for over a year now.
I seem to recall something a long time ago about using a blocker on a cam when using st19.
Can anything actually be written to the cam, since it is behind your pc?
Is there any circumstance where we would need a blocker using st19 with an aux?

i have read that no blocker needed, and card being used as an aux card
is safer than any blocker.

you do not need a blocker on the aux. I don't even believe an aux blocker exists. Theres no reason for one as your card isn't in the stream, so its only handling whatever your AUX program is requesting.
Its presumed that nothing can be written to the card, its used as read-only to determine keys/cw etc.. To this day, no auxed cards have been written to or fried in an emulation setup. Your aux image is wide open though, so any commands to write to it can easily be taken. I do not believe ST19 will allow this, and will redirect any writes to the image file. With the aux you can revert to a ROM102 image just by cleaning codespace and writing your new image.
You may put a blocker your ROM102 imagefile, but that don't make sense as it works perfectly blockerless.. and if it does get hit/looped/marked, you can easily edit it or restore a previous imagefile as its completely controlled by software.

Can't but a blocker on a Aux card it will prevent reads as well as writes.
No reads no usable Aux

How about using an i-cam mounted on an old card, will this work as well

Don't know enough about i-cams to answer that with confidence.
But, if the i-cam is just a 102 without the plastic yellow card
around it. No reason it shouldn't make a fine aux card.

here is my non-technical explination!
both rom102 and rom103 i-cams work fine. Someone should also note that either rom will do.
For example u can use a rom103 auxed card (with perk1.23.bn103 written to it) on a 2700 ird. ST19XL is only using the cam for MAP functions and rom102/rom103 do the same map functions so it doesn't matter.
hope this helps

Had no idea you could program with a unlocker.
But yes you do need an ISO for your Aux card.

ST19 ver 2.6.08 is working on all channels with aux.
I have used both rom103 and 102's for Aux card.
Icams work too.
You need a real ISO for Aux card, a programmer flashed to work with Nagra Edit will not be fast enough to use with aux card.

Just to clarify, my powersync and my other unlocker is flashed to read and write with N2edit. I have a couple of iso programmers but now just have to look for them. I'm waiting on ports I ordered off fleabay now,
thanks guys

Make sure the iso's are 3.68 Mhz and not the old DTV 3.57Mhz.
Or that they are switchable and switch them to 3.68.

Are ICams any cheaper than roms? And do they work with the same scripts that roms do? If so, where might one find one? I don't see any on mili's storefront

Anyone else having issues with ST19XL. Seems like maybe there's an ECM or something. TV goes black and the ST19 window just repeats "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
After it happens I can reset and it's fine again (well at least the channels I can get without an aux card)
Anyone else?
