ok been lazy and using fta's for quite awhile now. thinking about using the atmega 128 that I have and been collecting dust.. I see there are new files for it here on mili, I havn't paid the 25 bucks so can't download yet.

QUESTIONS: how has the FILE /BIN support for the atmega 128 been lately ? As of right now 12/6/2007 is it working all chnls wide open ppv, porn, hbo/s etc.... Just want to know because I have a feeling it might take coders awhile to have steady success for new bins for fta's ... need something a little bit more consistant. instead of putting a new file on every day.

thanks for the info.

is there anything that is working? all chnls wide open, shit I have most of all the stuff milli sells/sold here . rom 102, 2 different fta's (coolsat 5000, viewsat extreme, atmega card, magic card,. thanks. I can't seem to figure out if this a fta issue or all programing types being affected. ( and yes I have read the other forums) but can't seem to find the right answer I know fta is having trouble with the new ECM. but what about the other stuff

Fab5 says he got the ECM figured. He is coding the software for the USB Atmega256 cards now.

Mili are these ECM's going to be a common ocurrence?

I am not a coder but it seems to me the providers have found a way to create hard to reverse engineer ECM's that could be implemented constantly, fairly quickly and possibly forever.

Seems to me they are just getting started.

Listen, for every bright programmer Charlie's got, we have at least one, and probably many, every bit as bright as theirs. They have proven themselves time and time again. I remember when nagra 2 came out. Everyone was predicting doom and gloom, but it never happened. Then everyone was predicting the atmega was finished and it proceeded to rise from the dead. People, we've got to give credit where credit is due and our coders are one smart group of fellers. They don't owe us anything they just are willing to take on "the man" on our behalf. OK I'm climbing down off my soapbox.

i'm no doom and gloom type but it sure looks like by the time the brightest hackers figure out the new twist on the latest ecm, charlie sends down a new one and it's back to square one.

you may get only two or three days of fully open tv viewing pleasure at best. maybe less.

most fta's may never catch up with their releases. (charlie, you marvelous bastard, is that your plan?)

So what's down ppv and some premiums we get 1 or 2 new ppvs per week and anything on the premiums have mostly been on ppv. Get a pvr record what you need when they're up. most of what you watch is on the reg channels.
I have the utmost faith in the coders. They will find what is needed and if the time has passed for the 128's then it's time to move on just as we moved from 3's to 10's to 102 ect. Though free tv isn't cheap you've got to expect to have to upgrade from time to time. If this is one of those times then I'll have to let a few moths escape from the billfold

... need something a little bit more consistant. instead of putting a new file on every day ...

There is only one consistant fix...belly up and pay for a subscription to Charlie. We call this hobby TESTING. If you have money riding on this, then you are a fool. I have almost every gizmo that Mili sells and usually one of them is up (ROM102 is up 100% right now).

If you are truly lazy, then you will slowly realize that if you aren't learning, you are holding everyone else back. Either learn to play the game or learn to pay the game.

hey dumb shit I was merely stating that I've been relying on the fta for good solid viewing for ..I don't know ... 2 yrs now!! I've been doing this shit since the h card days. fta was a good solid way and possibly still the best hassle free way to get free tv. If you enjoy throwing on bin files every week that someone else creates on your rom 102 then go ahead and crown yourself as a fucking genious. I'm now seeing the possible demise of the FTA and trying to get back into the game of programing my cards. so eat me prick

Are you guy's angry that the providers are raining on our parade, or, are you maybe just hungry for a snickers bar?

there are some annoying freezing on the ppv, premium and internationals but everything is working.
perhaps there is another code within the dynamic pool of codes that needs to be added, or maybe its takes some time to decrypt the altering codewords???

Anyway FAB5 did a fantastic job with this fix.

Yes Fab5 addressed this issue over at card-coders.com today. He said fix in a little bit.

Hey Natas 2004 I wouldn’t worry much about fta’s going anywhere for some time.
If you ask me fta’s will be around to the next card swap, I also think that card swapping is the only true answer for the provider. I mean lets face it way to much money is involved in fta. Everyone watch and see in a couple of weeks fta will back to its old self smooth sailing. As for atmega 128 depends if fix will be released, going back to the money thing. No money involved in something that was made in early generation of cards.

So no boxing for me tonight. As I haven't bought either fta or an atmega 256. Seriously thinking about both.
